It was a toss up between Iceland & Amsterdam. But why Amsterdam?
Do we really give a damn?
It has something to do with chips and sauce, an original Italian food, flashing coloured lights at night where it's all a bit hush hush.
Talking about a secret. Kam had something up his sleeve!
Destination photo and video shoot in Amsterdam with our team!
It gave us the opportunity to experience a different country. In this case, Amsterdam was a place that had a special meaning for Kam & Sheena. They loved the people, the food, the whole buzz about the city.
For me, it was the first time in Amsterdam. I loved it! And the great thing about this trip was the amount of story telling by the couple. We even experienced their favourite food. From Mannekenpis - some say the best chips in the world - to an awesome simple pasta dish Sheena tried for the first time in Amsterdam - which my wife can cook at home!
Anyway, during our trip, Kam pulled us aside and showed us the ring which he was planning to give to Sheena. He said he saw this woodlands area outside of Amsterdam which looked like a scene from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, that would be an awesome place. However. He was too nervous to stop the car.
He carried on driving to Zaandam, where we stopped in a beautiful windmill village called Zaanse Schans. Maybe he'll have enough courage to do it here?
We wanted to keep it light.

I had a Canon flashgun in my suitcase but it was not used, as I prefer using natural light. And no tripod, monopod, slider etc. Handheld and gimbal work.
Massive thanks to Kam, Sheena, James and Mauro. Can't wait for the wedding next month!
